Competition - I P Mein Trophy
Mrs Joy Mein donated a trophy on behalf of her late husband, Mr Ian Pultney Mein, to Mr Baker of the Dalhousie Distict Golf Association.
The I P Mein Trophy began in 1982 for the seniors, and 2010 for the juniors. Mr Baker and Mrs Mein agreed to give the trophy, in Mr Mein's memory, to the DDGA. It is awarded to the best performed scratch player over a year of District and Open Tournaments.
Mr Mein's achievements include:
- DDGA Life Member
- Kilmore Golf Club Life Member
- Country Week Manager for twenty years (1956 - 1976)
